The physicality of ladders, buckets, scaffolding, powered lifts and so on can be challenging but the end result of watching a mural or large painting transform an area into a whole new visual space is captivating. Some are done directly on prepared wall surfaces and others are done in studio on heavy canvas which is then mounted and stretched for the particular application

NAPA ROSE RESTAURANT, DISNEYLAND ANAHEIM, CA
The dinning room of the Napa Rose restaurant in the Grand Hotel California Adventure/Disneyland is a large space with many pillars and hanging light fixtures making it difficult to view this 130 foot mural from one spot. I does, however, contribute a significant sense of place wherever viewed. Painting this mural began in studio, moved to a warehouse space, then was mounted and final touches done after installation.
